Job Description

As a Senior AI/ML Engineer at Aumplex, a leading enterprise AI platform, you will play a critical role in powering foundation models and large-scale machine learning capabilities. This high-profile position requires a strong combination of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and teamwork. You will work closely with other engineers, product managers, and field team members to construct systems that enable users to build and deploy machine learning models at scale. The ideal Senior AI/ML Engineer candidate will be able to:

• Design, construct, and oversee the scalability of AI/ML systems, including distributed computing infrastructure, data management systems, data analysis processes, and user interfaces, enabling AI/ML practitioners and delivering value to clients.
• Identify and employ contemporary base models and related technologies to enhance user workflows and foster innovation.
• Establish, build, and oversee adaptable backend services to streamline the development of foundational models and machine learning, ensuring effectiveness and efficiency.
• Craft user interfaces that are both testable and extensible, spanning internal resources like storage and data models, to ensure the maintenance of a sustainable competitive advantage.
• Collaborate with enthusiasm and a clear sense of purpose in a cross-functional environment, delivering solutions centered around customer needs to expedite business expansion.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in machine learning and software engineering.
• Ability to communicate effectively and write high-quality code, with a focus on creating systems that can handle large amounts of data and traffic, and that can recover from failures gracefully.
• To have experience owning the delivery of large multi-person projects.
• Strong programming skills in Python, R, or Java.
• Experience with popular machine learning libraries and frameworks, such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn.
• Experience with cloud computing platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Ability to design and implement machine learning pipelines.
• Ability to evaluate and optimize machine learning models.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with other engineers and stakeholders.
